Ta Ta For Now, Londontowne
SUCH mixed feelings right now! Last weekend was a series of crazy nights out on the town at all of our usual places, Steph, Kit, Kerry, Teddy, Spencer, and I. It involved nights at the Big Chill and the Rocket, late night McDonalds, bike rides at dawn around the damp empty streets. A week full of papers and exams and writing and re-writing and then suddenly being finished with it all. Last minute trips to the British Museum with Emma, having afternoon tea and eating finger sandwiches. One last night out at the Lexington with our usual group, dancing and drinking and singing and having the time of our lives. Today, the school threw a BBQ in Bedford Square (the private park across from school) and we all got together, saw some of our professors, and took a ton of good-bye pictures (which I will fully upload when I’m back in NY but some are at the bottom of this post). Then tonight I went for a final dinner with the girls, the four of us eating and getting gelato in Covent Garden, walking around, realizing how much we’re going to miss this whole life and experience. I’m so grateful that I was able to come here and live this, make such amazing friends, see such beautiful places and travel around Europe. I can’t thank you all enough for making it possible for me to come, for being supportive, and for being interested in my adventures here. I can’t wait for my two lives to merge once I’m back home. Back with the family, back to see old friends, and the grand finale, going to Texas and finally seeing my love again. I seriously feel like the luckiest person in the world. Who would have thought!
I love you all and hope that you are having a great night tonight with all of your loved ones.
